I’m interested in a lot of things, and I usually like to keep on top of things . But, lately I feel like I’ve been losing the battle. There’s just too much to keep on top of. Luckily there’s two inches of snow burying by perennial garden, or I don’t know what I’d do. My orchids in the kitchen are blooming beautifuly . Luckily , they actually seem to thrive on a little neglect. It’s the new technology that’s sucking up all my time. What with School 2.0 and Web 2.0, (mynew student/class blog is going well) I have little time for anything else. A couple of days ago I decided I would get a grip and create a schedule so I’d do more of the creative things I usually do to nuture my soul and not let my laptop and the net monopolize my time. I’m a special education teacher so I’ve helped lots of kids organize their time. I have these handy dandy little charts I get the kids to fill out and presto their time is organized. Well, that was my pla. That was my plan before I came across popurls thanks to Dave’s blog Musings of a Wannabe Genius. I clicked on popurls and was totally overwhelmed. I will never be on top of things in World 2.0. That’s it. I’ve met my Waterloo. I’m going to grab the latest book I’m not reading , A Path With Heart, blow the dust off it and settle in for a good read, and tomorrow I’m going to finish designing that funky little bag I’ve been putting off and then I’m going to knit it up and felt it. I’m not even going to think about what I’ve missed in World 2.0 while I’m in World 1.0. At least, that’s my plan.

Elona, I know exactly how you feel. And it’s Doug, not Dave, BTW…
Sorry
