Learning to change, changing to learn-the irony of it
Filed Under Blogging in and out of the Classroom, Dealing With Stress, Goals, The Way I See It
Talk about irony.! Learning to change- changing to learn will not be seen and heard in schools in many school districts even though it needs to be. My school district like so many others has blocked access to YouTube.
I wish I had a transcript of “Learning to change-changing to learn” so I could share the contents of the video with my colleagues and my students. I did hear a a rumour that some kids know how to unblock YouTube and watch it. Of course I wouldn’t do that. That would be totally subversive.
If anyone has come across the transcript of the video, I’d appreciate the link to it.
UPDATE*****
Richard has transcribed it here

Agreed! I’m writing about it on my blog right now — a transcript would help a ton! I wish I could find anything on the learning to change video. Is there a website, blog, list of sources used, anything out there? Join the conversation — I’m mrplatts on twitter.
I’m back — I transcribed the video roughly here:

Hi Elona,
Our school board also blocks youtube. Sometimes I am able to find the videos I need on metacafe.com, which isn’t blocked.
Tracy,
Thanks. I’ll try the site to see.
